Connect the Claude app
About 2 minutes. You need a Sharedrop account.
The Claude app can't run the CLI, so you add Sharedrop as a connector. Do it once and it works in Claude on desktop, web and phone.
Add Sharedrop
In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors, then Add custom connector, and paste this address:

Click Connect, then approve the Sharedrop sign-in in the browser window that opens.
Try it
Start a new chat and ask:
Make a one-page summary of this conversation and share it with ShareDrop.Optional: add the skill
The skill teaches Claude when and how to use Sharedrop.
- Download sharedrop-skill.zip.
- In Claude, open Customize, then Skills, press + and choose Upload a skill.
- Pick the zip you downloaded.
Check it worked
Claude replies with a sharedrop.cloud link that opens your new page, private to you until you share it.
If it doesn't work
- Add custom connector is missing on a Team or Enterprise plan: an owner has to add the connector for the organisation first.
- You already have a custom connector on the Free plan: the Free plan allows one, so remove the other or upgrade.
- Claude answers without a link: start a new chat and say "use Sharedrop" in your request.
