By accessing or using Sharedrop you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Sharedrop is a platform for uploading HTML and sharing it with humans through public, shared, or private links. The service is operated by Scott Owen at sharedrop.cloud.
You must use a real, deliverable email address. You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account. Authentication is handled by Clerk; you can sign in with Google or GitHub.
Sharedrop currently offers three tiers. The live feature comparison is at /pricing.
An Enterprise tier with custom limits is coming soon — contact us for details. Billing is handled by Stripe (planned). Paid plans launch with separate notice and pricing may change before then; we'll honour any active subscription's price for the current billing period.
Your use of Sharedrop is also governed by our Acceptable Use Policy, which prohibits malware, phishing, infringing content, and attempts to circumvent our sandboxing.
You own the content you upload. You grant Sharedrop a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, transmit, and display that content for the sole purpose of operating the service for you and the people you share it with.
Anything you mark public can be viewed by anyone with the URL and may be indexed by search engines and crawled by AI agents. Do not publish content publicly that you would not be comfortable sharing with the world.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. You can delete your account at any time — deletion cascades to all owned pages, versions, comments, access grants, and share tokens.
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sharedrop and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or revenue. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations — see your jurisdiction's consumer rights for any non-waivable protections.
Governing law and dispute-resolution venue are to be specified in a future revision of these terms based on the operator's jurisdiction at the time of any dispute.
We will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page when these terms change. Material changes will be announced via email to the address on your account.
